The village is an old mill whose origins are lost in time: it is bordered by two streams, once the driving force of the millstones, with an ancient medieval or even Roman bridge.
We have been living here since 1977, having moved from the city, which had become too large for us.
Over the years, we have gradually brought back to life the structures, the gardens, the olive trees, the dry stone walls, in an ongoing work in progress. The farm has always been organic and we produce oil, honey, vegetables, and in our kitchen workshop, we prepare preserves, jams, pickled vegetables, dry spices, and bottle our limoncello and other liqueurs...
We do not produce wine, but we buy it from nearby organic and/or biodynamic companies, as well as cheese from the shepherd or from the neighbors' cows who also provide us with fresh milk. Throughout the year, young people from all over the world also work with us through the WWOOF organization of which we are host members.
The farm is also an educational and social farm. In addition, we organize the open social garden every year, open to anyone who wants to participate.
Unfortunately or fortunately, every day a new idea crosses our minds, and then we have to make it happen.
